Robots are fascinating, fun and engaging. Stirring up energy, imagination, and innovative thinking of your students. In this session, participants will “think like an engineer” while engaging in hands-on activities with robots. Focusing on and encouraging 21st-century skills which are essential for all learners. Robots will be dare vital education instruments. They provide exposure to various STEM activities, computational thinking, and problem-based learning along with tapping into student creativity. Demonstrations in this hands-on session will be with current instructional approaches to infusing robots into classroom activities. Participants will leave with practices and engaging lessons to excite your students and energize your classroom.

This poster presentation will be hands-on driven, whereas the attendees will be able to try out some of the activities my students have created in class. Tips and lesson plans are situated on my website, along with handouts.

Overall, robots open up a whole new world in which students are engaged from the very start. Robots are a familiar and engaging instrument which provokes the creative and innovative thinker. In addition, coding and programming promote inclusivity and turns what could be frustration into an innovation opportunity.
